Any announcements from staff will be located in this forum, so it's a good idea to keep a close eye on it. Everything from rule changes to contests to activity checks will take place here, while all in-character related news, such as events and plot progressions, can be found in the "transmissions" board.

Even in daylight, the city gleams. It festers, it grows, it breathes. You think you can feel the shifting of the ins and outs. The cluster of buildings that stretch along the main highway are plastered with bright signs and billboards that flicker - flash - slip and change every second, advertising the Next Big Thing, the newest selling point. Skyscrapers stretch up to a tiny pinpoint above, wrapped criss-cross with freeways where commuters race past, nothing more than bright flares in the distance. The entire place rages with busyness and bustle, and the lights spark, they grow brighter, they drown out the darkness when it sets in. You're glad for the neon glow amidst the shops and businesses; it keeps you company, wards off the blank faces, bad vibes. You watch the stoplights change and the shifting signs behind it. Green. New Axiom designs. Yellow. Get your tickets for the latest Kabuki Theatre show. Red.
Sometimes they joke about how the buildings block out the sky in the Municipal Grid - silver city skylines so thick and rich that the sunlight has a hard time hitting the concrete beneath it. You realize upon arriving that this is less a joke and more an accurate description; that this is less a joke and more so intimidating sitting heavy in your stomach as they loom above. This is where cogs spin, twisting and turning, affecting one gear after the other so that things function and flow moving the way they should (moving the way they want them to). The courthouse, the prison, the schools - the bustling hospital that beats like a heart with the flow of people that come running in and out its doors. You’re caught in the gears, stepping between them to get from one place to the next.
"The park's kind of got a mind of its own," the locals tell you, "like all the wilder parts of this place. Nature has a way of taking over." You see the cobblestone pathway that winds through its center, cautiously inviting, and think that perhaps once this place was well-maintained, trimmed and complacent. Now vines creep across the path, trees loom with their weeping branches until the sky is nothing more than a blotchy glimpse. It's like another world, a piece of forest right in the middle of Oirase's metropolis. Here and there benches and street lamps peek out from beneath the weeds and shrubs, still usable, but as though the land were reclaiming the wood as its own. You feel as though it may reclaim you, too, if you wander long enough. The rumors of nature spirits that keep this park perk up when darkness sets in, of course, when your pulse is already beginning to drum a little faster than you'd care to admit. And didn't you hear someone say there's some kind of demon that makes its home within the copses of trees? They open, they close, you think this place is much more welcoming in the daylight.

you ask her out to dinner. i set up a table in my back yard over the cellar hatch. we cover the table in a cheap star wars tablecloth left over from my birthday party in 2009. my best friend will christian got me a $20 giftcard to the lego store. we decorate the table in fairy lights. not the normal christmas tree kind but the special led kind that you can control with a remote. we use a 40 ft extension cord to power the lights from my house. we cover the cord with a slip n slide that i borrowed from my neighbor brody. we cant find the remote for the lights. i set each plate with 2 forks. she arrives at 10 pm sharp. you smile and wave her over. she doesnt notice the cord. you both sit down at the table.

entp and slytherin, which is never a good combination. if a character has purple-tinted graphics there's an 85% chance they're mine. still stuck in basketball anime hell, unfortunately. you can summon me by saying 'pacific rim au' three times in front of a mirror, or just use the @ function. whichever is easier.
